Prof. Doron Amsalem is an Israeli board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist with extensive clinical and academic experience in both the United States and Israel. He provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and treatment for children and adolescents, with an emphasis on sensitive, thoughtful, individualized, and evidence-based care.
His clinical practice addresses a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder, behavioral challenges, and developmental concerns. Care is informed by a careful understanding of each patient’s family and social context, incorporating information from parents and educational settings when relevant.
